Pioneering West Coast producer Chris “The Glove” Taylor has worked with and produced for some of the most high-profile and iconic artists in music like Ice-T, Dr. Dre, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, LL Cool J, and Xzibit to name a few.
His early work on the classic Breakin’ movie and soundtrack with the song “Reckless” with Ice-T was a major game changer, along with his iconic work on albums like The Chronic, Doggystyle, 2001, The Firm, and even his collaboration with pop-culture parody musician “Weird” Al Yankovic on the 1985 Dare To Be Stupid album.
Taylor has also served as Music Coordinator, Programmer, and Assistant Composer for the series’ American Soul, Played By Fame, Tiny & Toya, The Parkers, Frankie & Neffie, and Monica‘s Still Standing, with song placements on N.C.I.S. Los Angeles, Empire, The Chi, The Neighborhood, America’s Next Top Model, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Lost, and King Of Queens to name a few.
