E-40, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch and read the Giants’ starting lineup over the public address system at yesterday’s MLB game between the San Francisco Giants and Cincinnati Reds, answered a few questions as part of the E-40 VIP Experience at Oracle Park.

One of the questions that was asked pertained to the NFT release of the Mount Westmore album Bad MFs. The Bay Area icon and Mount Westmore member E-40 explained the reasoning behind the west coast supergroup releasing the album as an NFT and said that it will be getting a release on other platforms, plus more.

E-40 explained, “First of all, I want to say this. I know there’s a lot of upset, die-hard fans of Mount Westmore…We released an album, NFT, you know, for the NFT space. But trust me, all platforms will get the album, plus more. Songs you’ve never heard, the whole woop-wap, so stay tuned we’re working on it right now. We just wanted to try the NFT space out. It wasn’t for no money, we all got money. It wasn’t about that. It’s a new world, you gotta turn with the times before the times turn on you.”

Earlier this month, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40 & Too Short released their highly-anticipated Mount Westmore album via Death Row Records and exclusively through Gala Music.
