The introspective “Cahuenga Boulevard” track finds “The Glove” in a timeline reminiscing on working with Dr. Dre, moving from Ruthless Records to Death Row Records with the help of Suge Knight, and reflects on The D.O.C. and Snoop Dogg’s early creativity and influence in building the label, 2Pac coming through with “California Love”, all before the downfall of the storied label.

Later in the song, Taylor recalls Interscope Records head Jimmy Iovine setting Dr. Dre up with the Aftermath Entertainment imprint where “The Glove” was instrumental in Aftermath’s early days producing tracks like “Fame” from the Dr. Dre Presents…The Aftermath compilation and others.
