Two of the west coast’s finest, DJ Muggs and Jay Worthy, have connected for an upcoming collaborative album entitled What They Hittin 4, releasing November 11. Hot on the heels of their latest single release, “95”, Jay Worthy took to social media to reveal the project’s cover art.
In his Instagram post about the new “95” single DJ Muggs said, “we pulled this beat out the archives worthy said he want some thing with that 1995 feel we dug thru some old hard drives an bam so much heat on them hard drives an not enuff hours in the day — after we did this song we started putting this album togeather “WHAT THEY HITTING 4“ Shit came out crazy”

The duo recently released the third single from Muggs’ own upcoming Soul Assassins 3 album entitled “Check In” as well.
Earlier this year, Jay Worthy released 2 P’z In A Pod, an 11-track collaborative album with bay area artist Larry June that featured Suga Free, Cee Lo Green, Roc Marciano, and Jim Jones.
Soul Assassins leader DJ Muggs, meanwhile, has also released a vast amount of collaborative projects in recent years including the recently released Sin Cortar, an all-Spanish project with bi-lingual emcee Crimeapple featuring Sick Jacken & Lil Supa, the Bang EP with Cappadonna, Gold with Rigz, Winter 2 with Roc Marciano, Meyhem Lauren, and T.F., two other collaborative gems in Cartagena and Medallo with Crimeapple, “Mile Zero” with Yelawolf, Death & The Magician with Rome Streetz, and American Cheese with Hologram to name a few.
The legendary producer is also readying the release of the Soul Assassins 3 album which is slated to feature Houston hip-hop icon Scarface and Freddie Gibbs (“Street Made”), Method Man of the iconic hip-hop Wu-Tang Clan and the legendary Slick Rick (“Metropolis”) among others.
