First things first, m’deepest and most sincere condolences on the sudden, untimely passing of the “architect of Atlanta Hip Hop,” Dungeon Family founder and 1/3 of Organized Noize, Mr. Rico Wade… 💔🙏🕊️

What are some of your fondest, most stand-out moments / memories during your lengthy tenure in this thing called Hip Hop?

Definitely the show with the whole Dungeon Family performing.

That said, what are your future plans and / or goals throughout the remainder of 2024 and beyond?

Working on new music, as well as film projects.

Switching gears here, what exactly do you want people to get from your music?

Hopefully, people find something in the music I make that will help them better themselves.

If you could collaborate with any one artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Tupac.

If you could play any venue in the world, which one would you choose and why?

The Gorge (Amphitheatre) at Gorge; I played there once before. The scenery is surreal; extremely dope place.

On a more serious note, are you happy with the current state of Hip Hop?

Can’t (say) I’m happy, but it’s good to see people continuing to make good music…although it has turned into a money grab for some.

What do you feel has and will continue to be the key to your longevity?

Staying consistent and creative, pushing the envelope and daring to be somewhat different.

Do you have any other outside / additional (future) aspirations, maybe even completely away from entertainment?

I build houses, and probably will get back into the trucking business as well.

What’s an average day like for you?

Always looking for new opportunities.

Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans…

I love the fans; they’re the reason I have been able to be relevant to this day.

What is your favorite part about this line of work? Your least favorite? And, why?

I love it because I’m doing something I truly love. I hate that fact that it sometimes puts a strain on friendships / relationships.

What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?

Learn the game, find someone who is seasoned in the industry and gain as much knowledge as you move forward…also, build your network.

Looking ahead, say five or maybe even ten years from now, where do you see yourself?

Movies…still looking for ways to improve the game.

Is there anything I left out or just plain forgot to mention?

Nope.

Any “parting” words for our readers?

Build your network; your network is your net worth.
