WestCoastStyles hooked up with legendary poplocker and dancer Michael “Boogaloo Shrimp” Chambers also known to fans as Turbo from the movie Breakin’ and Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo. In this new interview, Michael gives a history lesson about the early days of poplocking on the West Coast including his own journey into the dance style. We also discuss his iconic scene in Breakin’ dancing with the broom to Kraftwerk’s “Tour De France”, teaching the late King of Pop Michael Jackson a new style of Moonwalking, and his late dancing and movie partner Adolfo “Shabba Doo” Quinones who recently passed away.
