The hip-hop world was stunned by the recent death of Digital Underground front-man Shock G. Found unresponsive on April 22nd in a Tampa Bay motel room, the cause of Shock G’s passing was previously unknown. Today in a report obtained by Billboard, the cause of death was an accidental overdose of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and alcohol. Shock G was only 57 years old at the time of his death. A celebration of his life is being planned for August in the Bay Area, the month of his birthday. The upcoming event revealed to us by Money B in our recent interview will also include a celebration to former Digital Underground member, the late Tupac Shakur.
