Ice Cube was the featured guest on episode 10 of Kevin Hart’s new Peacock talk show Hart to Heart.

During the conversation between the two entertainers, Cube spoke on getting into movies with Boyz N The Hood and working with late director John Singleton as his solo music career is beginning to take off

“[I’m] at the height of my solo career,” the former member of N.W.A. member said. “Just dropped AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted, I think either just dropped Kill At Will, or about to drop my second EP. It was rolling. I was working on Death Certificate.“

When the discussion turned to music, Ice Cube touched on the Mt. Westmore supergroup of Too ShortSnoop DoggE-40, and himself. When Kevin Hart asked the rapper/actor about the formation of the group, Cube said, “E-40 approached me. He said, ‘you know what, Cube? We should do a big ass group together.’ I said what you mean by gig, who else? He said, ‘Snoop, and Short.’ I said yeah that’s big.”

Ice Cube went on to tell Kevin Hart that group had “like 50 tracks, so we got 3 albums worth of shit”.
