Cypress Hill Kicks Off Louder Than Life Festival In Louisville, KY Featuring Metallica, Korn, Anthrax + More

On Thursday, September 23, 2021 the iconic hip-hop group Cypress Hill performed at the Danny Wimmer Presents music festival Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY in a lineup of Rock heavy-hitters like Korn, Anthrax, Metallica, Rise Against and others.
As the lone hip-hop act performing in America’s largest rock festival, Cypress Hill kicked off the opening day of the festival in a commanding way. B-Real, Sen Dog, Eric Bobo, and DJ Lord of Public Enemy exploded on stage with “Another Body Drops,” from their 2004 album Til Death Do Us part, and proceeded to stroll through their iconic catalog of hits spanning a thirty-plus decade career with songs like “When The Shit Goes Down”, “A To The K”, “Hand On The Pump”, “Pigs”, “Latin Lingo”, and “Latin Thugs”.
In the middle of the set, Eric Bobo and DJ Lord jammed out in a prelude to the weed medley of songs which featured “Roll It Up, Light It Up, Smoke It Up”, “I Wanna Get High”, “Dr. Greenthumb”, and “Hits From The Bong”.
The group rounded out their set with “How I Could Just Kill A Man”, I Ain’t Goin’ Out Like That”, “Rock Superstar”, and “Insane In The Brain”, before concluding with “Jump Around”.
