XClan, is the Brooklyn, New York, hip-hop group that featured Brother J, Professor X the Overseer, Paradise the Architect, Sugar Shaft the Rhythm Provider, Isis, Queen Mother Rage, and YZ,
The original incarnation of the group released two albums, their 1990 debut To the East, Blackwards, followed by Xodus in 1992. Several notable songs included “Heed the Word of the Brother”, “Funkin’ Lesson”, “Fire & Earth (100% Natural)”, and “Xodus”.
