The 50 Cent A Moment in Time series will tell the story of the 1993 murder trial of Snoop Dogg, who was being tried for allegedly killing Philip Woldermariam, a rival gang member killed by Snoop’s bodyguard at the time, McKinley Lee.
The Snoop and 50 Cent team up, A Moment in Time: Murder was the Case, will feature on the Starz network and will focus on the story of how Snoop Dogg was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of Philip Woldermariam, detailing the events surrounding the high-profile trial.
It was during the launch of Snoop Dogg’s debut album, Doggystyle, on Death Row Records, which also contained the fortuitous single “Murder was the Case”, produced by Dr. Dre.
