On Wednesday (December 15), Watts rapper and community activist was named as one of PBS and KCET’s “2021 Local Heroes” Honorees. Through Stix’s ThinkWatts foundation, which we interviewed him about earlier this year, the artist has been able to provide food, health services, school supplies, clothing and other important needs to the people of Watts and other areas of Los Angeles.
