Los Angeles artist Mykestro and I go back a long ways. I was there at the start of his career when he was coming up with Problem, Glasses Malone, Terrace Martin and Bishop Lamont. He’s recorded with the best of the West throughout his career and he’s rocked with older brother DJ Battlecat on songs. The lyrical emcee remains to himself business-wise, choosing to be independent and catering to his fan base via Bandcamp and his website Skillzstillappeal.com.
