While Country music may be more synonymous with Nashville than Hip-Hop, there is no doubt a Hip-Hop audience, and they made their presence felt last weekend. In front of a sold-out crowd of 20,000 people, on Saturday, March 26, 2022, the Hip-Hip collective known as Mount Westmore and Warren G took the stage in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Fellow West Coast Styles contributor Chad Kiser provided an excellent overview of the evening in a post earlier this week. Here is a video of five left coast legends spreading California love in the state of Tennessee to accompany it.
As also previously reported by Mr. Kiser, the supergroup’s debut album is set for release on 04/20 and features production from, among others, Dr. Dre, Ant Banks, Fredwreck, and DJ Battlecat.
