“I had a health scare from which I am still dealing with and it was during this time I realized that my work on behalf of the West Coast was not complete. I still had a lot of work to do and a lot of acts to break – as well as stories to tell,” said Styles. “The West Coast has never received their fair share of local coverage in the hip-hop media landscape so who better to step back into the scene than the two guys who were instrumental in the revolutionary West Coast movement in the mid-2000’s?’, Styles further explained. .
