This past Thursday, Eric R. Holder Jr., the alleged murderer of rap legend Nipsey Hussle, had his public defender set forth a motion to get his bail reduced. According to The New York Daily News, Holder thinks his bail (currently set at $6.5 million) is “extremely high.”
Lowynn Young, Holder’s public defender, stated in the previously mentioned motion that “based on the isolated nature of this case, Mr. Holder does not pose a risk of harm to the public.”
The judge, Curtis B. Rappé, made the prosecution aware that they must respond no later than March 30th. Currently, Holder is set to stand trial in April.
