Iconic Dallas, Texas MC/Songwriter The D.O.C. was the most recent guest on Steve-O‘s Wild Ride Podcast, and the two sat down to discuss a myriad of topics including D.O.C.’s involvement in forming one of the most legendary record labels in history in Death Row Records, introducing Suge Knight to Dr. Dre, moving to Atlanta and working with MC BreedSnoop Dogg leaving Death Row for Master P and No Limit Records, and helping Dr. Dre work on 2001.

When asked about being one of the founders of the iconic label, The D.O.C. said he was “one of the lucky or unlucky people, depending on how you look at it. It was a blessing to go through the shit, but it was fucking crazy.”

One of the more interesting parts of the interviews is when D.O.C. mentions that Dr. Dre has been sending him records almost every day over the last four months, with Dre asking him what he thinks of it each time. D.O.C.’s response is, “That motherfucker is the shit, just like the last one motherfucker…and the one before the that motherfucker!”
