Until this spring, it had been a minute since Glasses Malone dropped any new music. He has more than made up for it as of late, though. In addition to releasing the promotional “6′ N’ The Mornin (GMX)” with Ice-T, Snoop, and Ty Dolla Sign in May, he also took to Twitter this afternoon to announce that his first official single drops July 09.
His most “recent” release was 2015’s Glasshouse 2: Life Ain’t Nuthin’ But… However, that will soon change when he puts out a reimagined version of his 2012 Glasshouse mixtape.. Not only will the release have some of his classics available for the first time on a digital platform, but it will contain new music as well. Some of the guests said to be appearing on it are The Game, Raphael Saadiq, and Too $hort and the original’s features, which include (but aren’t limited to): E-40, Cypress Hill, Kurupt, and Xzibit.
