In a new clip posted on social media, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg talk about the recently announced Pepsi Halftime Show for the 2022 Super Bowl.
“Everybody that’s going to walk on the stage I’ve produced records for them,” Dre said. “We’re breaking barriers.”
Dre and Snoop also recognized Jay-Z and his influence on making this all happen. Snoop commented, “See how Hip-Hop has been implemented into the NFL at a high executive level to where the NFL trusts him (Jay-Z). He’s a part of our culture; we’re a part of his culture. It’s a beautiful thing to where the NFL is catching up.”
Snoop: Before the two-minute warning [to] half-time get your snacks and refreshments!
Dre: We’re going to put on a fantastic show. Everybody is gonna leave here happy and excited about what we’re about to do!
