Oakland, California’s own Chris Lockett just dropped his latest project, Never Die Alone Part 2: Survivors Guilt, featuring Mistah F.A.B., Whip Game, Chevy Crocker, God Speed Tha Gr8, Don Q Ball, and others. Production on the album comes from IV, Don P, Marlee B, Progression Music, and Aagee to name a few.
In a statement exclusively shared with Chad Kiser, Lockett had this to say about the album, “The concept comes from a soldier perspective of surviving. ‘Why me? Why did my friends have to die? Why did this war have to happen?’ I’m not alright, but I appear to be. I lost a couple of friends to mental illness this year, so I poured it out in this album.“
Earlier this year, Chris Lockett released All American II: The Life And Times of Lt. Rell featuring Too Short, Beeda Weeda, Clinton Collins, The Delinquents, and more, while the production was handled by Ant Banks, Big Zeke, Yayo On The Beat, and others.
