Over this past weekend (November 6) five-time Grammy Award-winning producer Focus… released the latest installment of his instrumental project series aNALOG iN a dIGITAL wORLD 6. The project, which can be found on the producer’s Bandcamp, features 10 instrumental tracks.
When asked about the aNALOG iN a dIGITAL wORLD 6 project, Focus… exclusive told Chad Kiser: “I do the A|dW series in hopes to inspire music makers and artists. You can listen for texture, creativity, or just freestyle and vibe to each track. The music I create is tired of being confined to a hard drive so it’s also a great outlet to let my listeners here where I am creatively…”
Focus… has worked alongside Dr. Dre and his Aftermath Entertainment for many years and is well known for his work with Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, and Anderson .Paak, The Game, Christina Aguilera, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss.
The multi-platinum producer is working on several new projects and in an exclusive interview with Chad Kiser in August, he spoke on those projects, as well as working with Dr. Dre, producing “Where I’m From” for the Game & Nate Dogg and confirming the song was originally intended for Detox, working on Compton (A Soundtrack By Dr. Dre) with fellow producers Trevor Lawrence, Jr., Neff-U, Dem Jointz, Curtis Chambers and others, why his father, co-founder of the iconic disco/funk R&B band Chic, didn’t want him to pursue music, and much more.
