Chris “The Glove” Taylor, a pioneering West Coast multi-platinum producer who has worked with and produced for some of the most incredible and high-profile artists in music like Ice-T, Dr. Dre, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and LL Cool J, just dropped the Pimp Chronicles experimental soundtrack.
Chris “The Glove” Taylor spoke exclusively to Chad Kiser in November about putting the project together saying, “For my short film, Pimp Chronicles, is a project I’m working on with new producer Kmack On The Beat (Keith Boles). One of my oldest friends, he came with the concept of the pimp Chronicles and provided the “pimp vibe” The vocals that I’m doing are purely experimental and correlate with the visuals. I’m not a rapper…I have too much respect for the craft.”
On the story of the short film, the producer also said, “The story revolves around three pimps, two OGs breaking in a new talented manager. Based in West LA they bring the young pimp up to speed in the Metaverse.”
The Pimp Chronicles soundtrack features Chris “The Glove” Taylor, Tony Hasbun, Keith “K-Mack On The Beat” Boles, DJ Jason Jump, DJ Reesso, Q Gulledge of the production crew 1500 or Nothin’, Massv, and Ayler Young.
