Last night (February 2) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, multi-instrumentalist composer, and producer Kamasi Washington made his television debut performing “The Garden Path”, with the legendary DJ Battlecat manning the boards.
The Los Angeles, California native has released projects like The Epic in 2015 and Heaven and Earth in 2018, and he’s worked with high-profile artists including Kendrick Lamar on his Grammy Award-winning album To Pimp A Butterfly and Pulitzer Prize-winning album DAMN., El-P and Killer Mike‘s Run The Jewels 3, and Thundercat‘s The Beyond / Where the Giants Roam EP and Drunk album to name a few.
