Yesterday (February 13) pioneering and Grammy-nominated producer Warren G dropped his new song “Life Is Beautiful”, in which the G-Child takes a stance against violence in L.A.
Released mere hours before Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige were hitting the Super Bowl Halftime stage, Warren added his own flavor to mark the historic occasion with the new track.
Since dropping his classic 1994 Def Jam Recordings debut album Regulate…G-Funk Era, the Warren G has released several solo albums, including Take a Look Over Your Shoulder, I Want It All, The Return of the Regulator, In the Mid-Nite Hour, and The G Files.
He’s produced for the likes of 2Pac (“How Long Will They Mourn Me”), MC Breed (“Gotta Get Mine”) and Slick Rick (“Behind Bars” (Dum Ditty Dum Mix), Ice Cube (“Race Card”), and collaborated with a host of artists such as Mack 10, Raekwon, Snoop Dogg, Bishop Lamont, Ray J, Kurupt, Tha Eastsidaz, El DeBarge, and Ron Isley to name a few.
