Last night, Bobby Dee Presents & Uncle Snoop’s Army brought Snoop Dogg, Too Short, E-40, and Ice Cube of the west coast supergroup Mount Westmore and the legendary Warren G to perform during a sold-out show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN.
Rocking a Buffalo Bills sweatshirt bearing his son Olaijah Griffin’s jersey number, Warren G kicked things off in swift fashion opening his set with the classic “This DJ” from the producer/artist’s 1994 debut Regulate… G Funk Era.
The Regulator performed several songs from his vast catalog of hits and classics including “You Don’t See”, “I Want It All”, “What’s Next”, “Summertime In The LBC, “Indo Smoke”, and “I’m Fly”.
Rounding out the show-opener, the G-Child played several selections from his late friend and collaborator Nate Dogg, which included “Nobody Does It Better”, “Can’t Deny It”, “21 Questions”, “Bitch Please”, and the classic posse cut “Ain’t No Fun”.
The Mount Westmore set began with the group’s newly-released music video for “Bad MF’s” on the big screen before the four-member west coast supergroup rose up on stage sitting in throne chairs and opening up with “Big Subwoofer”.
Throughout the show, each of the hip-hop icons performed tracks from their pioneering and classic catalogs including “Freaky Tales” from Too Short, “Gin & Juice” by Snoop Dogg, “Check Yo Self” from Ice Cube, and “Tell Me When To Go” by E-40.
Other songs performed during the sold-out show included Snoop Dogg’s “Beautiful”, “Deep Cover”, “Tha Shiznit”, Ice Cube’s “You Can Do It”, “It Was A Good Day”, “Bop Gun”, “You Know How We Do It”, Too Short’s “Blow The Whistle”, “Don’t Fight The Feeling”, “Shake That Monkey”, and E-40’s “Sprinkle Me”, “U And Dat Booty”, and “Snap Ya Fingers” among others.
