Snoop Dogg just posted a photo of him and mega-producer Dr. Dre seemingly working on some new material in the studio. Snoop can be seen in the background standing in front of a microphone, while Dre is sitting at the studio console manning the session.
Snoop captioned his Instagram post with, “1. 2. 3. Into the foe”, a nod to the opening line of their iconic collaboration “Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang” from Dre’s 1992 Death Row Records opus The Chronic.
In February of this year, the two long-time collaborators performed together during a historic halftime performance during the Pepsi Halftime Show of Super Bowl LVI between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals, along with Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent & Anderson .Paak.
During the early months of this year, Snoop Dogg acquired Death Row Records, the label which jump-started their solo careers, Dre with The Chronic, and Snoop Dogg with Doggystyle.
Dr. Dre most recently co-produced a new song with Dem Jointz for Oakland, California artist Symba entitled “Never End Up Broke”.
They’re cooking something up!
