Iconic west coast hip-hop group Cypress Hill recently connected with System of a Down’s Shavo Odadjian and DJ Flict for the Los Angeles Football Club‘s banger “Reppin’ the City,” an amped-up motivational track for the L.A. team’s playoff run.
After Sen Dog‘s unmistakable and gruff chorus, “We be reppin’ the city!”, B-Real jumps in with, “It all starts with the will to win/Settle in/We on a quest to be Champion/Let’s begin,” over the infectious EDM-meets-hard rock beat. He even includes the Spanish stadium chants into the song’s lyrics of “Dale! Dale! Dale! Black and Gold. There ain’t nothing like the fever when we lose control.”
