Five-time Grammy Award-winning producer Focus…, along with two-time Grammy Award-winning producer Dem Jointz and two-time Grammy-nominated producer Denaun Porter of D12 have been working on a collaborative project called Read The PDF.
Mr. Porter has a production history beginning with Eminem, having produced Em’s 1996 debut independent album, Infinite. Porter has since built an incredible production credits list by producing for numerous artists including 50 Cent, Royce da 5’9″, The Game, Method Man, Snoop Dogg, and Jadakiss among others.
Dem Jointz has produced tracks for artists including Chris Brown, Eminem, Rihanna, Dr. Dre, and Kanye West, and is a part of Dr. Dre’s production squad The ICU on Aftermath Entertainment. Jointz has recently worked on songs like Eminem’s “Little Engine” and “Never Love Again” from the Music to Be Murdered By album, and “Use This Gospel (Remix)” from DJ Khaled’s God Did project.
Focus… first rose to prominence when he signed with Dr. Dre‘s Aftermath Entertainment in 2001. Over the course of his illustrious career, he has produced for artists including Dr. Dre, Beyonce’, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, The Game, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, and many more. He is the son of the late Bernard Edwards, co-founder of 70’s disco/R&B band Chic.
