GRAMMY®-winning producer, Songwriters Hall of Famer, and cultural icon Jermaine Dupri returns with a banging new single, “Turn Around,” featuring Atlanta rap royalty T.I., 2 Chainz, and Young Dro, out today via HYBE on all platforms.

Listen HERE.

The record serves as the lead single from Dupri’s highly anticipated full-length album, inspired by the upcoming STARZ docuseries Magic City: An American Fantasy—executive produced by Dupri himself and set to premiere on August 15, 2025.

A celebration of Atlanta’s enduring influence on music and strip club culture, “Turn Around” is a bass-heavy, club-ready anthem that pulls no punches. The record pairs explicit fun with Southern authenticity, inviting women to let loose, smile, and “turn that thing around.” The song’s high-octane visual, also debuting June 13, captures the unapologetic energy of ATL’s strip club scene—complete with cameos from Bow Wow, 21 Lil Harold, and other local legends.

“This record is about more than just a moment in the club—it’s a celebration of Atlanta, period,” says Jermaine Dupri. “Bringing T.I., 2 Chainz, and Young Dro together on one track felt important because they’ve each shaped the sound and identity of this city in a real way. This isn’t just a song, it’s a statement. It’s Atlanta standing up.”

The full project, set to release on August 15 to coincide with the docu-series brings together an all-star lineup of Atlanta artists. The city has long set the tone for music, nightlife and style. This marks the first time a producer from Atlanta has curated an entire album exclusively featuring artists from the city — spanning generations and genres. It’s a historic, monumental moment, with Jermaine Dupri & So So Def once again driving cultural innovation. Fans can expect an immersive listening experience that explores the soundscape of Atlanta’s iconic strip clubs, while honoring the roots, legends, and lasting impact of Magic City on hip-hop and pop culture. The project is yet another reminder that Atlanta has always been a city that births movements, boosts stars, and shapes the sound of the world — all while showing JD continues to show up for his own with an unshakable sense of hometown pride.

With the summer heating up, “Turn Around” sets the tone for what’s to come—a blazing-hot ATL takeover led by one of its founding architects.

Get ready. It’s an Atlanta Summer.

The GRAMMY® Award-winning iconic songwriter, producer, rapper, artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist has powered game-changing and chart-breaking smashes such as Mariah Carey’s 6x-platinum “We Belong Together,” Usher’s 3x-platinum “Nice & Slow,” Xscape’s platinum “Just Kickin’ It,” his own “Money Ain’t A Thang” [feat. JAY-Z], and countless others. “We Belong Together” not only toppled the Billboard Hot 100 for the year, but it also emerged as “the song of the decade” and “fifteenth most popular song of all-time,” according to Billboard.
