To commemorate what would have been Biggie’s 50th birthday, Burst Live, in partnership with the Notorious B.I.G. estate, is creating a gamified virtual metaverse, “The Brook,” that takes users back to old school Brooklyn of the 1990s.
The Brook is a project of Burst Live, an award-winning metaverse studio. Based in Helsinki, Finland, Burst is a leader in virtual reality, working with high-profile clients and companies from around the world.
The Brook Metaverse, built on the Burst Live platform, will allow visitors to step into Biggie’s world and experience the roots of hip-hop culture in a way they’ve never thought possible. The Notorious B.I.G. changed the course of hip hop and left his mark in this world through his music.
“Burst Live is proud to bring one of the most unique and powerful photorealistic Metaverse projects ever created,” said Burst Live Founder and CEO Mikael Meklin. “The Brook will be a powerful recreation of Biggie’s world that will share his legacy with a new generation in an immersive experience. We are honored to work with the estate to bring this world to life.”
Burst Live is honored to continue that legacy through The Brook, a new gamified virtual metaverse. Biggie’s hyper-realistic digital human character was made together with Hyperreal. Ms. Volleta Wallace, Biggie’s mother, and Wayne Barrow from the estate, gave a speech at the Empire State Building on 20th of May to launch the Metaverse project and showcase the launch trailer for the project.
The B.I.G VIP token will be available June 3rd and will have early access to the Metaverse and access to special content drops.
