Following up on the tracklisting being unveiled, multi-platinum producer and long-time Snoop Dogg collaborator DJ Battlecat took to Instagram to reveal the tracks he’s producing for the Doggfather’s debut on Def Jam.

When asked about his contributions to the Snoop Dogg Presents: The Algorithm album, Battlecat exclusively told Chad Kiser of West Coast Styles, “My contribution to this masterpiece is I produced three bangers on this album. One is called ‘Alright’ with Redman and Method Man featuring Nefertitti Avani from Cleveland, Ohio, who I’m really excited about you guys hearing. They set the Algorithm album off with a bang! Another one with Jane Handcock is called ‘By & By’, she’s from Northern California. Last, but not least is Battle Loc and Snoop Dogg featuring Kokane called ‘No Smut On My Name’ that gives you the L.A. classic sounds you miss from the late 90s. So, there you have it, stay tuned for November 19 and get The Algorithm masterpiece. You won’t be disappointed!”
Battlecat expanded his thoughts to Chad Kiser on Snoop Dogg’s forthcoming album itself by saying, “The Algorithm is a labor of love with a desire to bring back not only good music but the feeling and sound of good music. Snoop Dogg and Raphael Saadiq teamed up like superheroes and got the Legion of Boom, a conglomerate of producers who took flight on this mission to help save the music lover’s ears. Def Jam Records and Snoop Dogg came together and announced that the wait is no more, as November 19th is the release date.”
