Today (December 3), Snoop Dogg dropped the official video for the DJ Battlecat-produced “No Smut On My Name”, which features Battle Locco and Kokane, and is directed by Peter Quinn.
Prior to the release of Snoop Dogg Presents Algorithm, DJ Battlcat spoke to Chad Kiser of West Coast Styles about the three songs he produced for Snoop’s album and said this about the “No Smut On My Name” track, “Last, but not least is Battle Loc and Snoop Dogg featuring Kokane called ‘No Smut On My Name’ that gives you the L.A. classic sounds you miss from the late 90s.“

Snoop Dogg made his Def Jam Recordings debut dropping his 19th studio album, Snoop Dogg Presents Algorithm, on the iconic record label in November. The album features a star-studded cast including Mount Westmore –the supergroup of west coast rap legends Ice Cube, E-40, and Too Short — Busta Rhymes, Jane Handcock, Mary J. Blige, Usher, Benny The Butcher, Morray, Nefertitti Avani, and more.
Other music videos released from the Snoop Dogg Presents Algorithm album include Jane Handcock’s “Like My Weed”, “Murder Music” featuring Busta Rhymes, Benny the Butcher, and Jadakiss, the Fabolous and Dave East featured “Make Some Money”, and Mount Westmore’s “Big Subwoofer”.
The new project from the label’s new Executive Creative and Strategic Consultant also features production from ProHoeZak, DJ Battlecat, Soopafly, LT Hutton, Rick Rock, Nottz, Kato On The Track, and others.
