On February 10th late Wednesday night, Hip-Hop icon Kurtis Blow went on Kurupt and The Chill’s Clubhouse room to break the news that he is producing a female emcee led track honoring Vice President Kamala Harris with West Coast legend Kokane on the hook. Last night (Feb. 11) the staff at WestCoastStyles.com caught up with Kokane for an exclusive interview and he confirmed that news. The song is called “Kamala the Great” and Kokane actually sings that for the hook. There is no word yet on when the song will be released but we are told it will be soon. It’s pretty dope for an icon like Kurtis Blow to reach out to the West Coast and bring Kokane aboard for that project. In more East Coast/West Coast collaboration news, Kokane also tells us in the new interview that he will be releasing a song with the legendary Kool Rock Ski from The Fat Boys. Legends having fun and being creative is a good thing. The interview will be on the website Friday afternoon.
