Members of the legendary West Coast DJ crew Uncle Jamms Army are recording a new project and it’s been confirmed with WestCoastStyles.com that they have just finished recording with Ice Cube! The legendary crew pre-dated the gangster rap era in Los Angeles and used to fill up the Los Angeles Sports Arena with parties that ranged from 10,000 to 15,000 people. Many of the members like The Egyptian Lover, DJ Bobcat, Muffla and others went on to become recording artists and producers. Uncle Jamms Army was founded by Roger Clayton who passed away in 2010, however surviving members such as Muffla, General Jeff, Battlecat and Big Dad are actively working on this new project. Other members are expected to join in as well as other notable hip-hop names.
