It has been about 3 years for the Long Beach rapper, who was building a solid brand for himself and being co-signed and supported by one of Hip Hop’s biggest artists, Snoop Dogg. Jooba signed to Doggystyle in 2016 after the LBC Movement mixtape hit the streets and the Internet. There was a collection of artists on the tape, but Jooba was able to shine, and garner the attention, passion, and of mentorship from Snoop.

That same year, would see Jooba Loc drop his debut, Only Way Out along with a movie of the same title, that co-stared the Long Beach legend.

Things were lining up, and looking good for the rising rap star. In 2018, however, life would take a different course. Jooba would find himself in and out of the justice system defending his innocence. Ultimately, Jooba would wind up serving a sentence in Las Vegas, NV, and from behind the walls, would have to clear up  rumors and attacks on his character and reputation.

Throughout that time, up until now, an occasional post on his Instagram would pop up, giving fans and supporters an update on how he was doing and status with his case.

His latest update is stating that he is almost home, but before he touches the streets he wanted to drop an EP. You can find it on all digital platforms but below is a link to Apple Music from Jooba’s Bio on Instagram.
