Snoop Dogg just announced he’ll be kicking off the new year with a new solo album coming in January.

The Doggfather took to Instagram early Christmas morning to wish everyone a merry Christmas and to announce the upcoming project.

No details have been released as to what the album title is or who may be featured or producing on the project, but he did take to the comment section to ask DJ Battlecat where the mixes were.

The Long Beach icon has had a busy 2021 with several music releases like From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites and Algorithm, joining Dr. Dre on the GTA V: The Contract track “ETA”, hitting the road with the west coast supergroup Mount Westmore for a few shows, announcing his inclusion in the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, and so many other endeavors.
