Compton native and MC Ren protege’ CPO Boss Hogg has passed away at age 52 we have learned through his friend and WCS contributor Chad Kiser. Although no cause was given, CPO had been battling health issues the past few years.

Originally known as Lil Nation as a member of the group Capital Punishment Organization, he took on the name CPO Boss Hogg after the group disbanded. CPO Boss Hogg appeared on several high profile songs including 2Pac’s “Picture Me Rolling”.
