Eminem and A Tribe Called Quest have both been nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for 2022, along with Lionel RichieCarly SimonDolly PartonBeck, and Duran Duran.

As one of the highest-selling acts of all time, Eminem’s nomination is a no-brainer. The iconic Dr. Dre protégé has been named “Artist Of The Decade” by Billboard, sold over 220 million records, has multiple Diamond-certified songs and albums like The Marshall Mathers LPThe Eminem Show, “Lose Yourself”, “Love the Way You Lie” and “Not Afraid”, he’s a 15x Grammy Award-winning artist and an 8x American Music Awards winner, and has an Academy Award for his single “Lose Yourself” from the 2002 film 8 Mile.

The legendary and Grammy-nominated A Tribe Called Quest, consisting of group members Q-Tip, the late Phife DawgJarobi, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, released six gold or platinum-selling albums including The Low End Theory which is regarded for helping shape alternative hip-hop in the 1990s.
