One of the most popular platforms for Hip-Hop interviews is the Drink Champs podcast, hosted by Norega and DJ E.F.N. Many classic conversations and revealing moments have come about since it debuted in 2016. And based on a clip that N.O.R.E. posted earlier today, the upcoming episode with The Game will be no exception.

In the clip, which went up on Instagram, it becomes clear that the chat will cover many topics in the three-part interview starting this Thursday. Some of the things discussed will be his feud with G-Unit and touring with Nipsey Hussle. But, perhaps, the most noteworthy part is when Game says, “It’s crazy that Ye did more for me in the last two weeks than Dre did for me in my whole career.”

While Game and Kanye have collaborated numerous times and recently on the song “Eazy.” The way Game seemingly shortchanges Dr. Dre’s contribution to his career is very odd considering that Dre’s label, Aftermath, released Game’s classic debut, The Documentary, which helped propel him to international superstardom in the mid-2000s. And after Game’s falling out with 50 Cent, the title track to Game’s sophomore album, 2006’s Doctor’s Advocate, was essentially a thank-you to the D.R.E. for all of his assistance and mentorship since the feud mentioned above separated the two Compton Hip-Hop figures. Later, the two would reconnect and collaborate on Game’s Red Album in 2011 and Dre’s Compton offering in 2015. It will be interesting to see what happens next. Check out the preview below!
