April 1st will see the return of the legendary DJ Tony G to the turntables after a hiatus from DJ’ing the past few years. Tony is a legend amongst DJ’s having been the first KDAY Mixmaster at 1580 KDAY and regarded as the best of the best in his field. Tony G was also responsible as a producer for launching the Hispanic genre of hip-hop having produced Kid Frost’s “La Raza” and Mellowman Ace’s “Mentirosa”. Those two songs birthed the genre and gave rise to hundreds of California, Texas and Arizona Hispanic rappers over the years.
DJ Tony G will be mixing and scratching live this upcoming April 1st at 8 pm PST on DJ Melo D’s Twitch channel so if you want to see how the Grandmaster does his thing, tune in.
