Created by otherworldly digital artist Osean and multi-Platinum rapper/producer Deko, virtual popstar Yameii will be performing live at Elsewhere in Brooklyn on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, featuring performances from OseanWorld character creator Deko, alongside OseanWorld music masterminds Yameii, Lil HDD, and Doom Doom. Best known for his creations which explore the budding intersection of anime, music, and the metaverse OseanWorld has successfully fused these creative, tech-forward sectors, uniting them under IRL experiences that prove no matter how far we advance technologically, there will always be a space and demand for face-to-face interaction.
Yameii will act as the OseanWorld headliner for this lineup, bringing her virtual vocaloid pop star status to center stage for a night in Brooklyn. The virtual musician found initial viral success on TikTok, and has since enjoyed international recognition and esteem throughout the music world. She’s best known for major hits like “Baby My Phone,” “Yameii Vs. The World,” and her latest single, “cloud.” All of her work is produced by Deko: the multi-Grammy nominated, multi-platinum record producer and rapper who breathes life into every musical aspect of OseanWorld. With Yameii, Deko and OseanWorld have created a cultural sensation that sits at the intersection of anime, music, and fine art, and that sensation will be celebrated at the Brooklyn performance – Yameii’s third ever.
Although Yameii is somewhat new to live performance, her musical stats speak for themselves and award her a level of pre-vetted credibility.
