Back in September, Brooklyn-bred, Philly-groomed battle rap legend RJ Payne connected with Grammy Award-winning west coast OG Ice-T and Bun B of UGK for a collaboration over a CartuneBeatz-produced track entitled “Bulletz And Broken Glass”. Today, Payne released the animated music video for the “Bulletz And Broken Glass” song featuring the trio.
RJ Payne is a battle rap legend who took social media by storm with his “Murder In Less Than 60 Seconds” freestyle series, which attracted the attention of hip-hop luminaries like Pete Rock, Erick Sermon, Black Thought and others.
Ice-T also recently connected with Oakland, California beatdown hardcore metal band Lioneheart on a new track from Lionheart’s upcoming album Welcome To The West Coast III. The track, “Live By The Gun”, features Ice-T of the Grammy Award-winning band Body Count, with the production handled by Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed.
