Pomona, California legend and the G-funk originator Cold187um a/k/a/ Mansa Musa just released a new 8-track album entitled Black December.
Gregory F Hutchison aka Cold 187um is a producer /MC from Above the Law, one of the most prolific west coast rap groups of all time. Music is embedded in his DNA as his uncle is the legendary Motown singer/songwriter Willie Hutch. Cold 187um produced Uncle Sams’s Curse, Black mafia life, and Livin’ Like a Hustler for Above The Law, as well as producing for the iconic Eazy E & Ruthless Records.
Now going by Mansa Musa, the former Ruthless Records artist and producer also delivered a 10-track album Above The Law Presents: The Resurrection Of Gangster Rap last year, featuring long-time collaborator Kokane on 2 tracks, “Real Mutha Fucka” and “Funkum”.
Earlier this year, Hutch & Kokane teamed up earlier this year to form a new Funk / Soul / Hip-Hop band they created known as A.O.G.F – the Architects Of G-Funk, and dropped the 14-track album We Have Returned.
