Payback’s A Mutha produced by DJ Pooh is one of the first, if not the first song to sample the James Brown classic “The Payback” which was sampled hundreds of times afterwards. In addition to being a solo artist, he also made his mark in the game by helping to bring in Tha Liks and Xzibit into the rap game.
