Been a while since the West Coast has had a rap group powerhouse in so-called Gangsta Rap! “Meet The Whoops” Presented by Pro Club. is comprised of 6 MCs, Jay Worthy, Slumlord Trill, Hopout, Hitta J3, and YS. All bring a new, but relevant energy. I listened to the record when it dropped and felt something I hadn’t felt in a while. Power, If these guys can figure out a consistent run there’s no ending in site as far as I’m concerned.
Everything was there, bars, energy, presentation, and chemistry. Jay Worthy is a respected bar spitter in his own right, Slumlord Trill is on an upward climb in the city and Hitta J3 has been front and center pushing his line for a while as well. Hopout had a heavy buzz sometime ago with 319 Music Group and has since returned to the scene to stake his claim. YS has seen success as well with “Welcome To Stanford” reaching 1 Million views on YouTube.
It’s great to see collaboration and a unified front with these guys. Looking for that next banger! but in the meantime check this out it’s a Westside banger.
